English 4: answering some cuestions...

1. it's easy for me to learn:    I'm not really sure, but i think that speak or have conversations with other people in english is more easy than write, also it's easy (i think) listen and unerstand , specially when i 'm watching tv shows or movies or listening interviews. 2. it's hard to me to learn:    To me it's hard to write in english, specially the correctly use of the verbs and their conjugations. 3. something i want to learn in this course is:     Write better and have fluent conversations or talk in public without problems. 4. i learn best in classes where the teacher:    If the teacher explain everything it's gonna be fine; i know it sounds silly but some teachers don't do that or nothing about teach. 5. i participate more in class when:    We have to speak with the other classmates, like the last wednesday.

Blog experience

Well hello everybody, i'm here in the classroom, again, writing right now abouth nothing...again but, the good thing it's that we have a topic to write about it and well...the title of this post it says everything so this is my experience: In general,  writing in a blog it  had been a fun experience because in part,  it reminds me that time when i was a little teenager that used the blogs to find music and movies  a i used to download all that i could find so...was good bring here a little of nostalghia hahaha. But i think that its more important talk about the present: Something good that happened in this semester related with the blog.....i could have the chance to know better my classmates; people that i see often around the faculty but i haven't  the oportunity to talk with them so, tanks to everybody to write and share with me photos, music taste, food taste, your pets and the funny stories. The other side of my experience in the blog it's the bad...

Hello everyone, right now i'm the class room writing about nothing or maybe thinking about writing about nithing, i'm sick right now so the ideas don't flow so i think i'm gonna write about the only theme that apeears in my mind: Music, but what topic about music? i don't know...let me see: Well, maybe the reason that i'm sick and without ideas is beacause i'm in the nothing right now, maybe i'm with stress (this semester i have 9 subjects and other things), i'm all the day out of my home and always come back to de apt around 10:00 pm (well i think that's the life of everyone in Santiago) and i realized that i don't have time for me, to think in my ideas, projects, my friends or see what happend inside me and i think that this have the repercussions in me and my way of play trumpet in the diferent areas that i play and also in the way i listen music, which is a very importnat part of my life. Fortunately this year i met a few  lovely peopl...

Chamber music:

Today i’m gonna talk about my favourite subject in this semester or this year, which is Chamber Music: This subject basically consist in the work in group of repertory of chamber music - chamber music is the music that needs a minor group of musicians (8 musicians at most) in comparation with an orchestra that needs 40 musicians at least - with rehearsals with and withouth a teacher. Finally the exam consist in play the music that the group worked during the year in front a comission of teachers. The faculty offer to the students a select group of teachers that can teach this subject, most of them are instrument player and others are composers.  This year the group which i participate consist in a sextet of a violin, cello, clarinet, trumpet, fagot and piano and we are working a suite of the ballet of “La revue de cuisine” (The kitchen’s review) composed by Bohulav Martinu, and also we are working with a friend/student of composition of the faculty, he’s composing...

who's this guy?

Well it's kind of hard to choose a public person related with the music in general, there's a lot of names the come to my mind to write about them, for example trumpeters like Markus Stockhausen or Alison Balsom, or maybe some great composers that i enjoy listening his music like Claude Debussy, Toru Takemitsu, Olivier Messiaen or Salvatore Sciarrino among others. But i think that in this moment i feel a kind of conection or respect about a musician that was part of the pop culture in his days and now he is realted (i think) with the career  that i'm studying. He is Mark Hollis Mark Hollis (1955 - 2919), the dude in the photo, was a musician part of the pop band of the '80 and the early '90 Talk Talk, the band is mostly knowing for that hit that crush in 1984 "It's my life"  and they have a big succes in that time. But the ambition of Holli never was to be a pop star, he felt the music in other way  that is most realted with the classical music or ja...

 - In the last time the noise of the city and the people as well has bother me a lot; right now i feel a lot of anxiety and listening music to escape of the stress, the noise and the people has helped a lot. The problem is that not every music has helped, specially the music that use a  lot of instruments and the music that always sounds loud and noisy. So, i have to search new and old music that could help in this situation, so i let you some records that i recommend you in case if you are looking new music or specifically, if you are in the search of listening music with lower sounds or with big spaces of silence. . Jessica Pratt -  Quiet Signs (2019) I know the music of Jessica a few years ago and his voice and the fact that she only use her guitar has captured my atenttion, "Quiet Signs" is the new record of her and was released a few month ago and, look the name of album, it says everything. This record i had listening a lot when i walk in the streets. Imagine ...

Favourite photography

Hello everyone, today i have to talk you about one photography that i like, that wasn't hard to think, because right knnow, i don't have pictures in my cellphone or my e-mail, so i'm gonna let you the this photography: This is "Priscilla" tooked by the photographer Joseph Szabo in 1969. The idea of Szabo when he tooked the photo was captured the spirit and the ambivalence of that time (Vietnam War, Hippie "revolution" the flower power) through the image of the teenagers of that time, for the same reason i think that is a powerful photo; Priscilla with no idea that Szabo was taken a picture of her, expressed a lot of energy, a mixture of rage and spirit of freedom,  and the fact that she has a cigarrete in her mouth (she was a little kid in that time) is the proof of that. Also i like a lot this picture because one of my favourite bands, Dinosaur Jr, use the photo for the cover of the album "Green Mind" in 1991. I let you the cover of the...
