POST 3 >> ACADEMIC CHALLENGES IN 2020


Hello everyone, today is the day to talk about the faculty where i’m studying, if you didn’t know i’m studying musical interpretation in the university of chile in the faculty of arts, this place is well know for different kind of problems that involves the infrastructure, monetary problems and also with the curriculum of the careers, but i’m gonna talk only about the career that i’m studying.

First for all the infrastructure problem; the faculty where I’m studying it’s very small for all the universe of people of all the careers, there’s not classroom enough so, maybe the solution is look for a new building to have new and better space for all of us, that includes more and better classrooms, a dinner room (there’s not cafetery here and that’s illegal), functional pianos that everyone can use, more digital technology such as better computers that can includes programs that are related with the music that can be used for subject like musical arrangement for example, and also more instruments that the students can use because, there’s a few ones and not all the teachers let the students use the instruments. 
About the curriculum, there’s some subjects that were eliminated like instrumentation and musical counterpoint, these subjects are important for the develop of the student of musical interpretation and I think that as students of this career we should have it.  Also I think that we need to practice more contemporary repertory, not only the repertory of the baroque and romantic period. And the last thing I think that as students of musical interpretation and of the faculty we must to work with the others careers like musical composition or sound engineering or dance to increase our knowledge in all the areas of the arts. Well,  these are some of my suggestions.

    there was a project to build a new building for us in JGM years ago, but many people said that is not good for the musician to be far of the center of the city (why?, I really don't know) so I don't know if that project is still on foot. cheers

    Like you, you consider the infrastructure of the faculty of arts a problem, hopefully one day it will be solved.

    I am agree a lot of think you say in your post! infrastructure is a real problem in this university, if we change the place im sure we are going to change our minds to study !

Hello everyone, well this is the last post, and because we are in summer i’m gonna tell you about my plans for this summer.   The true is that I don’t have any plans, but, I’m gonna pretend that I have so, this is what I want to do for the summer. Hello everyone; new semester and new post, for the same reason new topics. Today  i want to talk you about the country i would like to visit,  it's one of the typical destinys of the tourists in the world for many reasons, maybe the same reasons that i have to visist, the country is India. In first place i have to tell you that to me is a unknow but beautiful and atractive place; i'm not an expert about the India but always find this country very atractive for the culture: the music, architecture, food (its delicious)- among other things - and obviously all the spiritual culture that the people have there. So, some of the places that i want to visit are very famous, one of them are Benares, in fact the real name is Varanasi, this city is very famous because is the spiritual city of the India and maybe one of the most spritual olaces in the world. POST 1A >> A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

     Hello everyone, today i’m gonna talk you about the country that i’d like to go, yes, again haha. Well, i really would like to go to Egypt, because all the things that are involved with the culture of the ancient Egypt mostly. About this country i think that i know nothing haha, that’s why i wanna go there; know the Egyptians pyramids, like the Giza Pyramids for example, but also I’d like to go to The Great Sphinx of Giza that it’s located in the same place of the pyramids. Also I want to learn more about the culture of this country like the language, ancient religion, food and specially the music of the past and the present (I really like to listen all the music that I can)       I want to believe that I can live in Egypt, but I think that I’m a winter person so, I think that I can`t live in this country or any country that have highest temperature.
